Historic Downtown Hillsborough -
Known as the Historic Hillsborough Bridge, in the 1800's this area was home to several mills and was the center of commerce for the town. The downtown has many historic buildings such as the Governor John Smith Library and Historic Firehouse.

A charming historic village that served as the center of local life until the 20th century. Still a quaint area full of historic buildings and structures that include an animal pound, horse sheds, cemetery, school house and churches.
